Southwark Park Sports and Athletics Centre

Soldi CDM & Fire was appointed by the London Borough of Southwark to undertake a fire door and fire compartmentation survey at Southwark Park Sports and Athletics Centre, as part of a wider programme of building safety and retrofit planning across the leisure estate.

The commission involved inspections of fire compartment lines throughout the building, with particular focus on service penetrations, ceiling voids, plant interfaces, and compartment boundaries between gym, studio, circulation, and ancillary areas.

In parallel, detailed fire door inspections were undertaken on key compartment and escape route doors, assessing door leaf condition, frames, ironmongery, self closing performance, seals, gaps, and certification.
