Soldi CDM and Fire provides independent expert witness services in fire safety, passive fire protection, compartmentation and CDM compliance. We accept instructions from solicitors, loss adjusters, insurers and public bodies on matters ranging from fire damage disputes to regulatory enforcement and construction defect claims.

Our reports are prepared in accordance with CPR Part 35 and the relevant practice direction. We also accept appointments as single joint expert where the parties and court require a single independent technical assessment rather than competing expert evidence.

Fire safety and construction risk disputes are technically complex. Poor compartmentation, inadequate fire stopping, defective fire doors and CDM failures all require expert analysis to establish what went wrong, why it went wrong and what the consequences were.

Our duty is to the court, not to the instructing party. That independence is non-negotiable.

Expert Witness Services

Clear, independent and well-reasoned expert evidence is essential to resolving those disputes fairly and efficiently.
