Soldi Group was founded in 2011 by Alex Petheram, following a career in construction that started on site at 18. Working across Tier 1 contractors and international consultancies, Alex built a track record in delivery, risk and problem solving on live projects.
The business started with a single project for Morrisons in Weston-super-Mare following a fire at a petrol filling station. That job led to repeat work and long term client relationships, forming the foundation of what Soldi is today.
Over the following decade, Soldi grew across the UK with selected projects delivered internationally. Today the group operates as a focused consultancy, delivering fire safety engineering and CDM services through Soldi CDM and Fire Limited in the UK and Soldi Fire and Risk LLC in the United States.
Our Focus
We are brought in on complex projects where standard guidance falls short. That typically means existing buildings, heritage constraints, live sites, and heightened regulatory scrutiny, situations where technical judgement matters more than a template approach.
Our clients manage large and diverse property portfolios: hospitals, schools, universities, public buildings, and residential assets where the consequences of getting fire safety wrong are serious. We provide clear, practical, and defensible advice at every stage, from early strategy through to written outputs that regulators, clients, and legal teams can rely on.
Our work is specialist and risk led. We get involved early, where risk is set rather than managed after the fact, and we stay focused on solutions that are actually deliverable on site.
Soldi Group operates across the UK with an office in the United States. We are set up to support projects internationally, including the United States, the Middle East, and Asia.
