Soldi CDM and Fire was appointed by the London Borough of Southwark to provide fire engineering, fire strategy, and fire compliance consultancy across its entire Move leisure estate and associated public buildings throughout the Borough.

Our appointment included the preparation, review, and development of Fire Strategies, Building Regulations fire compliance advice, fire engineering assessments, means of escape analysis, compartmentation reviews, passive fire protection inspections, fire stopping coordination, smoke control reviews, and technical design support throughout the design and construction process.

Working closely with the client, architects, engineers, contractors, Building Control, and other stakeholders, we developed practical fire engineering solutions that balanced life safety, regulatory compliance, operational requirements, and buildability across refurbishment, decarbonisation, extension, and fit out projects.

Our role continued throughout design development and construction, providing technical reviews, responding to design changes, reviewing contractor proposals, supporting Building Control consultations, and helping deliver compliant fire safety solutions across multiple live project sites within the Southwark Move leisure estate.
