Soldi Fire and Risk delivers compliant, plain-language fire safety reviews through-out the Texas triangle.

We specialise in large and complex buildings, including hospitals, senior living facilities, leisure centres, manufacturing plants, and mixed-use developments.

Our reports meet the fire and life safety requirements set out under NFPA, the International Building Code (IBC), and local jurisdictional amendments. We address occupant safety, egress strategy, fire resistance, and construction fire risk using practical, code-aligned solutions.

We also support clients with fire door assembly inspections (NFPA 80), construction-phase fire safety plans (NFPA 241), and barrier integrity reviews (IBC Chapter 7).

The driver will always be straightforward, practical advice tailored to your building and project.

Applying NFPA and IBC in Practice

At Soldi Fire and Risk, compliance is not a tick-box exercise, it’s embedded in how projects are planned, built, and signed off. We apply NFPA and IBC principles through every stage, from early design reviews to final occupancy, always focusing on buildability and real-world application.

Our role is to bridge design intent and site delivery. We interpret complex standards and turn them into simple, coordinated actions that work for designers, contractors, and owners. This approach helps avoid delays, redesigns, or compliance disputes later in the project.

We focus on five key areas of practical delivery:

1. Design and Code Interpretation

We review architectural and engineering plans at concept and detailed design stages. Using NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code)and IBC Chapter 7 (Fire and Smoke Protection), we identify compliance routes, egress requirements, and protection features early, before they become site issues.

2. Construction Fire Safety

Our NFPA 241-compliant fire safety plans address live site risks including temporary protection, hot works, and material storage. These are written to fit construction sequencing and local fire marshal expectations, avoiding overcomplicated procedures that slow the job.

3. Fire Door and Barrier Integrity

We carry out NFPA 80 inspections and barrier assessments to confirm rated doors, walls, and penetrations perform as intended. Reports are presented in clear language with photographic evidence, allowing maintenance or corrective actions to be prioritised.

4. Local Authority and AHJ Coordination

Every Texas jurisdiction interprets NFPA and IBC standards slightly differently. We coordinate directly with fire marshals and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to confirm the accepted approach, reducing uncertainty and saving time during inspections or final approvals.

5. Active and Post-Construction Fire Risk Reviews

For occupied or phased developments, we complete fire risk assessments to confirm continued compliance and operational safety. This includes life safety systems, egress, and emergency procedures aligned with NFPA 101 and the IFC (International Fire Code).

Our approach combines detailed knowledge of NFPA and IBC with practical construction experience. The result is straightforward, defensible documentation and strategies that pass inspection, support site delivery, and protect the people and assets involved in every project.
