Soldi Fire and Risk provides practical fire safety support for active construction and refurbishment projects through-out the Texas triangle.

We help contractors, owners, and design teams manage fire risk throughout construction and demolition phases, following NFPA 241, Safeguarding Construction, Alteration, and Demolition Operations and OSHA requirements.

Our work covers live sites, temporary structures, and phased developments, from groundwork through to commissioning. We focus on keeping projects compliant, coordinated, and safe without slowing construction progress.

Typical projects include hospitals, residential developments, schools, logistics centres, and complex refurbishments.

Our role is to make fire safety practical, integrating it with the real conditions of your jobsite, rather than adding unnecessary process or delay.

Applying Construction Fire Safety in Practice

At Soldi Fire and Risk, we apply fire safety planning directly to how projects are built. Our work follows NFPA 241 and OSHA 1926 Subpart F, embedding fire protection and safety measures throughout every phase of construction.

We focus on practical implementation, building fire safety into site logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor management. Our plans are tailored to the job, not generic templates.

Typical areas we manage include:

Hot Work and Ignition Control

We establish safe systems for welding, cutting, and grinding operations, including permit controls, trained fire watch personnel, and spark containment to reduce ignition risks.

Temporary Fire Protection

Design and management of temporary fire alarm and suppression systems to protect incomplete structures and occupied zones during phased work.

Site Access and Fire Department Coordination

Clear routes for fire service access, hydrant location, and staging areas are planned in coordination with local fire marshals and AHJs.

Material Storage and Waste Management

Evaluation of combustible materials, packaging, and waste storage to prevent fire spread and maintain safe separation distances in line with NFPA 241 guidance.

Construction Site Inspections and Monitoring

Routine site inspections to confirm ongoing compliance, including checking electrical installations, temporary enclosures, and fire protection measures as construction progresses.

Emergency Response Planning

Site-specific emergency plans defining responsibilities, alarm response, and communication protocols, practical for real jobsite conditions.

We translate the technical requirements of NFPA and OSHA into clear, usable instructions for supervisors and site teams. The goal is always the same: safe, compliant construction that avoids disruption and meets code expectations from the start.
